About The Artist
The Muse Behind Kubista
Bri Kubista is a Miami-based artist, muralist, and creative entrepreneur. The name carries history she did not manufacture. It was already there. She simply claimed it.
She has painted walls across Atlanta, lived for six months with a family in Fes, Morocco who opened their door to a stranger without hesitation, and traveled through Spain, Portugal, and the Dominican Republic letting each place leave something behind. She came home with full sketchbooks, a deeper understanding of what it means to be seen, and an unshakeable certainty about what she was put here to make.
Kubista paints women in black and white because she has spent her whole life being asked what she is. Multiracial, raised in the Dirty South with a voice that surprises people and a face that defies easy categories, she understands what it means to contain more than one story at once. Her paintings do not erase identity. They hold all of it at the same time. The work is dark, detailed, and intentional. Built for people who are not interested in art that plays it safe.
She is still building. Still painting. Still figuring out the next chapter in real time and doing it without apology. If her work moves you, buying a piece, grabbing the MUSE coloring book, or simply sharing what she makes with someone who needs to see it, all of it matters. Every person who chooses to support independent art over the algorithm is part of what makes this possible. Bri is grateful for every single one of them.
Art is not created for algorithms. It is created in moments of feeling.
